Zack grinned and bounced back from what looked to be the last of the vampires around him in the underground, offering Jen a cocky sort of grin.
"Well, that wasn't so hard at--" He frowned.
Something inside him just lurched, like maybe it was trying to get out again. Like maybe, somewhere else entirely, it was time for him to wake up. And there was no sun, anywhere near him, to deal with his insane counterpart if he left.
