The last day of the month used to mean payday, but on Fandom Island, it meant sunshine brighter than a your teeth after a week of whitening strips. The shabby town was bathed in light, looking perfectly safe. And yet, in the shadows and corners of buildings lurked the vampires. Beware.

A.K.A. Vampire Headquarters - the safe spot for vamps during the day.

"I asked first," Dean shot back kinda childishly. "Were you eating the funny brownies again or something?"

"I didn't eat anything funny. I..." Sam trailed off as he finally started taking in their surroundings, and realized this was neither his nor Dean's room. "Dean, where are we?"

Dean paused and looked around. "I... don't know," he admitted. He glanced over at his brother. "If we were gremlin bit, we'd remember right?"

"Yeah, we'd remember everything," Sam said, sitting up. "I feel like I know this place but...not really."

"Now that's reassuringly vague." Dean got up, ignoring the no clothes thing for now and headed to window. "Let's take a look at where we are," he said, pushing the curtains aside, then yelping in pain as the sunlight hit his hand and it caught on fire. He immediately dropped the curtain and pulled back. "What the fuck?" he demanded, frowning a little as something felt weird about his face.

The flash of sunlight had hit the bed too, and Sam scrambled back to curl up under the sheet as the light hit his leg and burned him. His face felt weird too, but he wasn't as concerned about that until he looked at Dean. "Oh. Oh shit, Dean," he said weakly.

Dean stared at his brother. "You're a vampire," he said kinda numbly.

"So are you," Sam said, sounding a little broken. "Dean, I dreamed about this place, about us. I thought it was just a dream."

"You dreamed about us being vampires?" Dean asked, reaching a hand up to feel his face. That was way too freaky.

"I dreamed about us being here in this room. Um, together," Sam said, his blushing speaking volumes about what he might have meant by that.

"I know! And I thought it was just a dream, but we're here now and it all feels so real," Sam said. "What are we supposed to do?"

"I know that!" Sam said frantically. "I mean how do we get back to normal? You know, not vampires?"

Common Area 7|31 Day

The main room of the town hall, where meetings were once held, has been converted to a common area, for socializing, planning, and lounging while waiting for night to fall. It's possible that some nostalgia for the dorm's common rooms went into the decoration and setup of the space.
