Nathan wasn't feeling getting up early today. The bed was just so big and soft (and empty but he could live with that) and there was a phone nearby if he wanted food to come to him.

He had actual plans tonight that were kind of fucking awesome but he didn't have anything but the bed and pillows and blankets right now. Totally a good way to spend some of the morning.

Wesley was just about on the same page with the whole willing-to-sleep-the-day-away thing. Huh. He was agreeing with Nathan. Check that out.

After about forty minutes of aimless lazing around, that was starting to get old. He decided to be civil and acknowledge Nathan's presence. "Would you care to watch a movie or something?" he yawned. The TV was just opposite the beds, after all. There would be no getting up required.

"As long as it's not a chick flick where's there crying and long ass montages of women shopping, sure," Nathan mumbled, peeking his tousled head out from under his blankets.

And Nathan hadn't even suggested porn! That was progress. Or he just wasn't alert enough to be too raunchy yet.

Bobby wasn't sure if he'd make it down to the beach today, but he was outside, at least, because, well... banana-macadamia-nut waffles. He'd have to be crazy to pass that up. And of course, Bobby being Bobby, he was already planning a second course for breakfast, those steak and eggs looked really good!

Rinoa was feeling, if not great, then certainly better than she had been yesterday morning. Her shields were better, and she'd had some actual real sleep.

She spotted Bobby at breakfast and waved.

"Are those any good?" she asked.

No, Rinoa. He was scarfing them down because they sucked.

"I had no idea banana-macadamia-nut was even, like, a thing, but these are pretty much amazing," Bobby shared.

Despite the recommendation from someone he trusted, Bod was still a little nervous when he wanted into the spa. It wasn't like he was used to being pampered or focused on as of late so he didn't really know how to act.

Still, he had to admit that the massages were very nice and very relaxing and very helpful in getting some of the ever present knots out of his shoulders and neck.

Emma was human - well, a humanoid-shaped mutant - again, and had drunk the entire damn minibar yesterday. Was it any wonder this was her first stop? Really?

Jeremy had handwavily been out playing tennis yesterday. And while he'd totally been correct in remembering he looked really seriously good in the required outfit, he had forgotten tennis was actually exercise. So today, he was a little tense all over.

A nice, long massage was clearly required before he could even consider doing anything else.

Bobby had gotten back from the tidepool education to enjoy himself on the beach.

He'd gone swimming for a long time, but finally returned to the beach. Bobby had planned to write the report his mom had assigned, but while his notebook and pen were out, he was trying to be subtle about watching all the pretty girls instead. Trying being the operative word.

"Are you actually doing homework on the beach?" Percy asked, wandering up when he saw his younger looking doppelganger. "I thought you were on vacation too, Bobby."

"It's vacation homework," Bobby explained, looking up guiltily. "Mom made me promise to do it when she agreed to let us come!"

It was Friday and Karla was determined to do something other than lounge on the beach and hang out at the bar, as much fun as both those activities were. And vanishing to another island with Warren, while tempting, wasn't actually going to help her hang out with lots of people during the remainder of the vacation.

Which was why she was checking out the tidepool education activity instead--that and the lure of adorable baby animals.

Okay, and also the lure of subjecting Ender--among others--to her squeals about baby animals.

"Ooooh! Lookit! It's so tiiiiny! Where's my camera?!"

"You're asking me?" Ender asked, quite sensibly, and with his eyebrow raised as far as anyone not trained in the art of eyebrow-raising could manage.

"It was rhetorical," Karla said, shooting him a look that suggested he was not properly moved by the wee bitty baby animals. In fact, her camera was hanging by the band around her wrist, so it hadn't even been misplaced, exactly. She pointed to a baby turtle, swimming contendly in the tide pool. "How can you look at that bitty face and not think it's adorable?"
