London, 1936 - Friday - All Day

Spring in London meant rain, rain, and more rain, but it wasn't anything that the citizens weren't used to after hundreds of years of civilization. The streets of London were constantly busy as the city grew closer to its peak population of over eight million people. World War I was a distant memory, and as many of London's citizens prospered, the distinction between the artistic, upper class West End and the industrial, rural East End was becoming even stronger. King Edward VIII was doing his best to reign after the recent death of his father, but the power of Great Britain could not be questioned.
