Stiles was going just a little bit nuts without his phone so he definitely took the opportunity to get the hell off the boat when he could. It was kind of nice to be in a place that looked like it jumped off a vacation brochure.

It was worth the major sunburn he was gonna get.

"You know, freshmen year of college," Stiles said after returning the hug. "Nothing but gen ed requirement after gen ed requirement so I can finally get to learning about something that interests me."

"Nice," he said, nodding approvingly. "Was it an easy transition, the moving in together thing?"

"Mostly? I think we were a little too worried about stepping on each other's toes or invading too much space at first, but I think we've gotten over that," she said. She had, at least. "Was it like that when you started staying over at Derek's?"

"When I started staying at Derek's we didn't even like each other that much," he said. "I was just trying to be annoying."

"Oh, the exact opposite of my situation," she smiled.

"Yeah they really aren't comparable," he said. "But we get along fine now. The lack of fighting is actually starting to worry me."

"Maybe it's a good sign. Like you've grown together enough that the old stuff just doesn't bother you anymore, or you've learned how to work around problems," she suggested.
