Not sure I'm familiar with the original fandom, but at least now I know why Spike called Illyria a Blue Meanie.

Oh yes - Plot of Yellow Submarine is basically that demonic blue beings invade a world of happiness, music and love. Only one inhabitant escapes (via the iconic Yellow Submarine) and summons the Beatles, the only beings who can help free Pepperland by the power of their music. Eventually they free Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, and their combined music converts the blue meanies to the power of love.

[Marvin] Sickening, isn't it? [/Marvin]

Your icon is missing the letters "ed".

But apart from that, it's brilliant! =:o> =:o> =:o>

(Hint: "dash" is not an adjective; "dashed" is. Compare with "damn"/"damned", which is what the "dash"/"dashed" couplet is modelled on.)

Extra hint: What I mean to say is, I want to marry your icon and have its children... but only after it's had the missing "ed" added. =:o\

Umm... Sorry... [RETREATS BACK UNDER DUSTBIN LID TO THE CORE OF THE CLANGERS' MOON]

I am terribly amused. And Pepperland has been armed with Helter Skelter in the meantime and thus is able to fight Punk Rock with its own weapons. :)

SCARY CYBORG GUY:   I like... "Helter Skelter".

SPIKE:     Yeah, you would.

(From (extremely glitchy) memory, and thus probably *WRONG*. =:o? )

No, absolutely right.

Glad you liked it. Not sure that Helter Skelter, on its own, is enough of a defence...
