challenge ideas

Dunno if anyone reads this still, but ff_eye_candy is stuck for challenges, so I thought we could brainstorm here for some ideas that the mods could refer back to.

• Types of icons:
  
  • iPod style
  • tiny text brushes
  • textures (although it can sometimes be hard to discern the texture if it's subtle)
  • newsreel/movie clip
  • photo-style
  • collage
  • stroke
  • exclusion layers
  • X's
  • etc
• colors (but not green! too many color contests seem to be green)
• creatures
• icon pairs (i really liked this one in another contest)
• headless/face/eyes/feet/mouth/whatever

Any other ideas?
