Hey there. I've been a bit of a lurker. for awhile, but after I got a few of my Otakon pictures in order, I decided to post. Very cute Yuffie! Too bad about the socks - I used fabric paint on mine and it started cracking D=

And because I'm a lamer, I must ask - what sort of material did you use for the jacket? I managed to find one that was close enough for me when I was freaking out the day before the con XD but I'd like to try and make a proper one.

Thank you Aria! I used a pleather for the vest. It was on sale in my local Jo-anns. It was easy to work with for the most part. It was only tricky around the hood, for me. And I have a question about the paint, how did you get it to go in a straight line. Free-hand it or using a straight-edge? I'm sorry it cracked :(

Ahhh, pleather. I keep hearing many good things about it, suppose I'll have to see whether my local fabric stores know of it seeing as Jo-anns doesn't seem to want to come to Australia D=

Me and my sister just freehand painted them, we both took/are taking high school art so we're both fairly used to painting stuffs. Only thing was we had to paint them while I was wearing them because otherwise they weren't stretched out enough for us to paint it all. And it's only been cracking a little, should be able to fix it =D

Oh hey, I know that Squall in the second picture. :D We were a post-break-up Squall and Rinoa in a fan movie. XD Good times. (He's so tall.)

Cool about the fan-movie, Is it posted somewhere like the you-tube? And yes, he was tall, I even thought that when I met him. :)
And no, That was a wig. It was a very cool wig though because it had clips in the front and back so I didn't even need to wear something like a hair net.

Only half the (full-length!) movie is on YouTube. The movie was broken up into the actual plot and "Behind the Fantasy" segments, which were kinda like that show Behind the Music, and they also explain some of what happened in the plot proper. Anyway, the Behind the Fantasy segments are on YouTube; the first one actually explains the breakup and some extra stuff.

We're not the greatest actors, but it was lots of fun to do. :D

I really liked it, And honestly I thought you all did a good job. Really funny and interesting too. :) Me and my sister were going to do something like this with our friends when we went to ocean city. Y'know, run around the beach as Yuffie, Sora, vincent and Tifa.
