I doubt December's the date. Dec.31.InsertYear is how retailers display games when they're not sure of the release. If you check on either FFXV or KH3, they both also say December of 2014 for a western release. Considering neither is likely to ship in Japan this year? Yeah. Amazon'll roll over the year to 2015 if they don't release this year; it's how they work.

That said, the English trailer for Curtain Call did say 2014, so my guess is sometime in summer. Maybe we'll see more at E3.
