Clearly you've put a lot of thought into the gameplay aspects but you've overlooked something: the story.

What's his backstory, both in the cycles and back in his world? Is this his first cycle, or another of many? Does he have some connection to the characters from XI already present in the series? What side is he on? How does he feel about the war between Cosmos and Chaos and just how much does he know of the story behind that? Does he share a special bond with any particular characters and why? What is his inner conflict in his story? How does he overcome that conflict and acquire his crystal?

That's the part that truly matters, and yet his page is rather void of those details.

Yeah, I'm kinda still working on that. I've got an idea of his inner conflict, and he doesn't really have any personal connection with Shantotto or Prishe considering that together they represent the three starting nations of Vana'diel (Zerrin = Bastok; Shantotto = Windurst; Prishe = San d'Oria). I've also got an idea of how to incorporate the cycles of war into the Galkan culture, including rebirth and the Talekeeper.

But Dissidia is in another world, not Vana'diel. There's no way to integrate that into Galkan culture because there's no Galkans in the world of FFI. Or the other races for that matter.

Oops, I meant that the other way 'round. And I meant it in terms of the story and characters, not the world itself.

Still doesn't work. He's not from that world, nor are his people.

Dang, it keeps coming out wrong... I meant taking ideas from Galkan culture and adapting them to the Dissidia template of war cycles.

No one's even seen him throughout the cycles. As a newcomer he wouldn't remember any of that.

Freely tossing titles around that could be miscontrued as an actual release is a bad idea, especially in the form of a wiki entry. And aside from having a ludicrously official-looking page there, I fail to see any such relevance to this comm as a connected whole.

Correct me if I am wrong but isn't this an official FinalFantasy wiki? Creating own characters there is very misleading for the people who search for an actual information. Personally I think you should post it on FF. net and make a real story out of it rather then a character sheet.

Strictly speaking, it isn't "official" because it hasn't been authorized or endorsed by Square Enix. Not that it needs to be but that's beside the point.

And I am planning on making a story on FF.net; this gameplay page is solely to bolster the idea of authenticity, which shouldn't be taken as anything more than that; especially considering the fact that it's safely ensconced in my user space.

Um...you might want to look over everything in the gameplay mechanics, scrap it all and redo again from scratch. This character is ridiculously broken, especially in regards to BRV-HP. What's more some of the abilities on his weapons don't exist in the game and in the case of that 40% Initial BRV it would go over the BRV limit. It likely wouldn't even be used in tournaments. I also reccomend you delete the wiki entry and submit it in a document or something. As was said before, tossing titles like that around would confuse people.

There's nothing wrong with fan characters but you really need to put more thought into this.

I concur with this. I saw this and thought it was real, until I took a closer look. This is a very easy way to start brewing a nice kettle of ire amongst the group. While I commend the initial effort, it shouldn't be place somewhere people could confuse it with verified information.

You mean the main benefit of EX Mode? ...Yeah, looking at it now, it does seem pretty overpowered. At the time it seemed the best way to adapt the effects of Benediction to the Dissidia template. Maybe I should just make it a stronger version of Regen.

And I basically copy-pasted the exclusive weapons table over from Shantotto's Dissidia 012 entry and changed the names. I'll work on improving that,

Actually the way you've set him up, he doesn't even need EX Mode. Might want to fix that.
