Oh, I love your brief portrait of knight and queen, Beatrix and Garnet! That's a pairing that doesn't get enough love.

Your Fran/Ashe study is interesting. It feels a little cold to me, because Ashe does seem very cold, in the game, but with Fran I could imagine her trusting enough to let down her guard.

Trying to fit into a strict word count is tough, but I like them when they're short.

As for your Ashe/Fran, I have to admit, I like how you portrayed them. I'm not totally fond of Ashe and have difficulty believably pairing her with... well anyone, but you did them so well!

To be honest, Ashe is one of my favorites. She may not be likable, per se, but I enjoy writing her complexities.
