I especially liked how you had Aeris note Tifa's worldliness, a nice contrast to Aeris's own usual otherworldiness.

Oh my. Almost seems as if the earth is pulling her into herself. Sticky and cobwebby and very...hm. Almost like a reverse birth, in a way. All placental and gooey. I love the things you've done to my brain in this. It's rare that I read something I can touch. Thanks for this.

Wow, this is great. Wonderful use of sensory imagery, and I loved Aeris's reactions to leaving Midgar and the slums -- it's an interpretation of her that doesn't often get written, and it really works here.
