Week 52: Lion or Lamb - Submit
March is often said to "come in like a lion and go out like a lamb"--or vice versa, due to the often unpredictable, inconsistent weather as the seasons change.
Challenge: Lion or Lamb
This week is all about contrast. The challenge is to make a "lion" or a "lamb" icon . . . Take the style/mood associations we have with each term, and let those shape your icon's subject matter, color choices, composition, etc.
Here are some suggestions. (You don't have to follow these;, they're just examples.) Feel free to interpret the theme in your own way. ^^
Lion: dark, intense, vibrant color, a strong or brooding personality, stormy, aggressive, large or eye-catching text, grunge brushes or textures, thick strokes of color, high-contrast black and white . . .
Lamb: peaceful, subtle, soft colors, a gentle or calm personality, fragile, magical, no text or faded text, tiny text, dotted line brushes, Amano art, pretty light textures . . .

Rules:
--Each member may submit up to 2 icons. But if you decide to make 2, please don't use the same style for both. Experiment a little!
--Icons must conform to livejournal standards: 100x100px & 40KB or less, in .gif, .jpg, or .png format.
--Icons must be made new for the challenge.
--Don't use or showcase your entry icon(s) until the winners have been announced.
--Fanart and doujinshi can be used, but if the artist does not want his/her work modified, please don't use it.
Icons are due by Thursday, March 22nd at 8pm EST.
Submissions should be left in a comment to this post. (All comments will be screened.)
