It was excellent! But methinks you be smoking the crack, matey. ;)

I did love it and it is full of mystery! And I'm amazed at how they sound like themselves, but also like they just fit in the PotC verse too!

Do you know about ships, or did you look up all that stuff? Would it be possible for you to include a little shipping vernacular in the org post? heh.

Am very puzzled about the Inside though...but I will await your thoughts on this.

I fully intend to link to some pirate-info sites. I had to do some research myself in writing this.

I considered going into the next part and introducing Danny, Rebecca and Mel from the inside, but this was such a good place to end it.

But plan is they find three survivors in the water, the Dread Pirate Love, Rebecca and first mate Mel. Upon questioning... Captain Love (seriously, best name ever) reveals that they picked Rebecca up off a strange, deserted island (sound familiar?). And the Black Pearl was the ship that destroyed theirs.

Ooooh! I love the beginning, it's so interesting - I like the murderous glint in the master-gunner's eyes and Mal being know as Mad Mal. So cool.

Here's hoping we get some takers for the fic. I'm dying to find out more about Dread Pirate Love, Mel and Rebecca and what's going to happen next.
