Very, very good stuff. Loved the image of his grinning face lit by a single match. And there's something about River scenting him...and knowing she's safe.

And a challenge, no dialogue. I couldn't do it. :)

When I read the challenges this one hit me and wouldn't let go. It's been a hell of a week but I had to sneak this little drabble in before the challenge closed.

The thought of Jayne appearing in the light of a match. . . I'm not much for squeeing but that image definitely hits my buttons. *eg*

God, I love how your Jayne is essentially saying, "F*ck all of you--bring it on" by lighting that match.

And how they didn't need any words to know what the other was thinking.
