The scenes between Basch and Noah in this fic make me want to cry. I love how Basch aches for resolution, yet knows that it may not ever happen; he allows his anger to exist even as he wishes he could undo everything that's gone wrong between them.

I love the interplay between Chaos and Zalera. There's a story there, as well.

The plot continues to be realistic and paced well; I can believe that time is passing and games are afoot and that it's all coming to a head. Ditto for the relationship between Vaan and Gabranth; although the literal fighting it out is a standard trope, you wield it well here. All your research into the characters' game stats pays off in how you describe their bouts.

I seriously want Balthier to pull off the saving move in this Draklor plot.

making only one or two all-business remarks like "I will see to it" or "we need confirmation on this" or "I have the entirety of the Zodiac Spear stuffed up my butt."
