I'm still putting off those papers I ought have graded last week.

(And you're welcome. And thank you.)

I must admit, the idea of Balthier/Ashe makes me cringe. But this, this was lovely. Very IC and sad and GUH.

Hee, thanks. It was a challenge, but I think I got it.

Aww, this was sad, but beautifully done.

Although the DalmASSca icon made me feel better after I finished reading ;)

....he's taking her where I think he's taking her, isn't he? Because if SHE'S that old, then...and you don't describe him and...

Yeah. :) Verah neat. ^_^

He might just be~...

This was a real challenge for me, I admit, conceiving of a "happily ever after" for these two. And then someone suggested, "well, fudge the ever. Make it German they way you usually do, 'and they lived happily until they died', or at least imply that it might be the case.

Hence, might. It is conceivable that he's spiriting her off to the skies without pulling her past the clouds...

Make it German. Heh. ^_^

I like the way this turned out, though, with her being unabashedly old and the ambiguity. :)

I'm just going to sit over here and wibble.

I see from the comments I'm not the only one to have gone the hallucination afterlife route, but you make it so easy in a very sweet, gentle way.

Yes. Wibble. But a good one.
