Week 166: Image - Bad Lighting
We've all encountered those frustrating caps that are simply dominated by darkness or a monotone coloring. In the past, this issue made it fairly difficult to make an appealing icon from such scenes, however, thanks to newer batches of light textures and a perfected use of curves/color balance/selective color and other techniques, bad lightning no longer stands in the way of an iconist and a screenshot. ;D
For this next challenge, you will have to use one of the following images with bad lighting in your icon:
Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children | Final Fantasy VIII | Final Fantasy XIII: Versus
Final Fantasy IX | Final Fantasy X | Final Fantasy IV
* Hint: The coloring giving you trouble? There's always the option of going b&w. ;D
