Announcement: New Mod

Hello! I'm anniereckless, and with cdg's approval, I am the new maintainer of ff_awards! Along with myself, I'm sure many people would hate to see such a great community close, and so to prevent that, your participation will definitely be essential to the continuation of this community, so I hope I can count on you guys to continue to submit and vote! :D

In terms of banners, for as long as I've been doing banners here (August) we've had 3 or 4 bannermakers. I think the community in general has had a good reputation for getting things done promptly, although right now the situation might need a little help. The only banners that remain undone are Weeks 153 (copellia) & Week 154 (curiousnuance). copellia has been really reliable in the past but from what I understand from other communities is that she is taking a break from LJ so probably shouldn't continue to be on the rotation, and curiousnuance is new, this might be his or her first assigned week, so I'm not sure of that status. The remaining bannermaker, fantomu, is very reliable and prompt with banners, and I know that he or she was able to keep up when we only had three bannermakers, so with fantomu, myself, and one more volunteer we're probably okay. I am also okay with us turning to custom_bannersAs it's been over a month, I would suggest we reassign weeks 153 & 154. I could potentially do one or both since the last week was my week and those banners are already completed, so I would be last in

Anou... I was just wondering... I actually just made a post today at custom_banners earlier today because I thought the community was going to close down. Should I delete that post? I asked for banners for weeks 153 and 154, coincidentally. ^_^;;

Alright I just read a reply cdg made in the announcement post stating that "All unfilled banners can be requested at custom_banners, here on LJ." So I think that may be what is most appropriate to do. So I would say go ahead and keep your request up at their community, and hopefully others will stumble upon this comment or the previous one and know to do the same :)
