looking for a fic where Inara had twins

I remember part of a story I read in it Inara had twins rate before she became a companion.she was not aloud to keep them and the stayed with there father.For some reason she ended up with them and one of them was a reader like River.I also believe one was a girl and one a boy.Does anyone know what story this was in?

I had it and then I lost it :( A fic where Serenity was a living ship - and Zoe was the 'living brain'. She couldn't leave the ship and was really weak/sickly. It focused on her relationships with Mal and Wash.

Any help would be apprectiated!

I seem to sorta remember a fic where Simon was turned into a girl, I think it was Mal/Simon pairing but I could be wrong.

Oh and there was a bit about a tree and Simon always catching River.
