Magic Pot Game

Magic Pots are hungry monsters that will kill your face unless you give them tasty elixirs. Being the cunning adventurer that you are, you’ve set off on your quest with a couple of elixirs to ensure your safe passage through a particularly Magic Pot-prone dungeon. But, when you come face-to-face with Death itself, are you going to be able to keep your cool long enough to remember which flask you put the elixir in? Or, will you accidentally toss it one of your healing potions and find yourself with a dead face?



Aim of the Game: The aim of the game is to successfully guess which flask contains the elixir that will save you from dead-facedness. If you guess right, the Magic Pot will leave you alone and you will win points and the chance to live another day. If you guess wrong, well…



How to Play: Pick a thread to post in, then post a comment using the form below. I’ll get back to you about whether or not you picked the right flask. If you did, great! If you didn’t, don’t despair just yet because…



RULES

• You may guess a maximum of three (3) flasks per pot (so, you get three guesses per thread)
• If you guess correctly before using up all of your guesses, those guesses are gone (so if you’re in Thread 1 and you get it right on your first try, you do not get to save the two other guesses you would have had in that thread in order to have five guesses in Thread 2)
• You may guess in a maximum three (3) Magic Pot threads
• One (1) person per thread at a time. That is to say, if someone is posting in Thread 1, you can’t post there until they either a) have won or b) have used up all of their guesses. This is because the flasks will reset in between players.


• 
  Clarification: I usually screen comments once someone has given all of their answer and won/lost. I usually only do this the next time that I check replies to the game (so, if I tell someone they won during my first check of the day, I will wait until my second check of the day to screen the comments). This is so that the person who I responded to has time to come and see my reply and also because sometimes I'm silly and forget. ^-^; So, if you're looking to join a thread and you see that I've told someone "Yay! You won!" or "Sorry! You lost!" or some variation on those, you can reply to that thread. You do not need to wait for me to screen the previous comments. I hope that clears things up. :)

Prizes:

• Everyone will receive 100 gil and 10 points just for participating
• If you guess the right flask on your first try, you win 30 points
• If you guess the right flask on your second try, you win 20 points
• If you guess the right flask correctly on your third try, you win 10 points
• This means that the maximum number of points you can win is 100
