Samuraicon!! (Also Attorney National or whatever)

So I went to both cons!! I got Sister Kaya to call for me and say that I am eminent in my field and they put me on a couple discussion forums or whatever so I got to talk about the law things I know about. They asked me a ton of tough questions that I didn't know the answers to, but I made stuff up that sounded good for the stuff I actually knew ( Read more... )

Oh, you were able to attend the Steel Samurai convention and Mr. Edgeworth's convention? How delightful! I'm glad you had such a lovely time. And you know Mr. Powers, too? How exciting!

For my part, I mainly took care of embassy business, but I was also had the pleasure of spending some time with my friend Detective Gumshoe.

By the way, what is your field? I remember when we met, you said something about your family, but you didn't precisely say what it was they--or you--did. I'm curious, does it have something to do with the law?

I'm glad you had a good time. You deserved a break, with all the training you've been doing. Wish I could have been there to hear you talk. I bet you did a great job. Samuraicon does sound like more fun than a lot of lawyers listening to themselves talk, though I've actually never seen the show.

I had a quiet weekend. Enjoyed a few books, drank some coffee. The usual.

Miss Fey, wasn't it? I recall meeting you at the police auction a couple months ago.

It sounds like you had a very good time! I've only been to one convention in my life, and that was the annual Regional Airlines Convention. I can't say it was nearly as exciting as you make the ones you attended sound, but I did have the pleasure of taking part in a very informative seminar on bowing etiquette.

Oh hi! You're the lady with the crazy dress!! Were you in charge of the seminar? You seemed like you were pretty good at bowing.

No, I was not in charge, but I learned a great deal about the many degrees of bowing that day. I would be happy to give you some tips if you're interested?

Must be nice to sleep in a fancy bed for a change. Heck, even a futon!

Hmm, all this talk is starting to make me sleepy, pal.

Do you not have a bed, Detective?

Well, I got a sleeping bag that gets the job done and all, but sometimes a guy misses the nice springy feeling of a real bed, y'know?

Sounds like you had fun. The mean old lawyers didn't give you a hard time, did they?

A little bit, but I'm more than enough to handle them.
