Salem is always a madhouse during October. Which is why I avoid going there during Halloween, unless I'm feeling daring or it's the middle of the week. Even then...so many kids! But since it was Wednesday and I had the day off, my mum and I braved it to go to the Beer Works for an early birthday lunch. I got Pumpkinfest ale. Had more sips stolen ( Read more... )

So many people are freaked out by graveyards, yet I find them rather peaceful. That's a lovely picture!

I agree! They're always very quiet, even if they're in the middle of a city. And some of the epitaphs you find on old graves....oh man. Classic.

What a wonderful piccie! I love graveyards too---spent hours and hours trolling through the pre-Revolutionary War ones around home when I was a kiddie. *G* They're so incredibly peaceful!
