Note: Hugh Grant is an adorable pervy sweater man.

But aside from that.

Gabe says "I want one of the spawn to go on a date."

I say "okay!"

how much do i fucking love you? this is just perfect - sweet and weird and i particularly like the bit of promise at the end: How odd. But not unpleasant. and everyone cleaning their guns....

so what's she wearing? chanel's sang des anges? (which ought to be a real perfume, if you ask me...)

anyway, this made me really happy - consider yourself thoroughly and enthusiastically fanboyed....

Chuuuu~ So glad you liked it, sweetness. I was a bit worried about the sweet to weird ratio, but if it worked then....yay! *loffs*

I think she just rolled around in insense without realizing it. The coin smell is all her...somehow....I'm not sure how those things works. Like...pheremones?...only not *gives up* And I'm fairly sure that perfume exists. Maybe in France. (and because I'm a dork- Kirito wears CK1 and Brett wears Platinum Egoist)

ahhhhh...when he thinks "coins" is he describing her scent, or her eyes? i thought he was getting a drift of her, and that she smelled, very faintly and sweetly, of blood, which sometimes smells like copper pennies - at least, it does to me. but i'm a little odd.

hee - nice choices of cologne for the boys, too - alex wears issey miyake's l'eau bleue (cos it's the second sexiest smell in the world) tai just smells like clean boy (the first sexiest smell in the world). *smile*

No, you're right. Exactly right, actually. I was originally going to put that she smelled like pennies (i.e. blood) but then realized they don't have pennies in Japan. So if you're odd, I am too *grins*

Mmm...clean boy. My personal fav.

"Youre family is kind of...stiff," her date stated.
Somewhere in her mind, Uncle Schu snorted loudly and snickered.
She shrugged, swinging their joined hands back and forth. "They just love their work."

*dies laughing* How in the world did she grow up in the same household as Schu and manage to remain that naive???? She must live in her own little world :)

How old are Cailin and her date in this fic? Is it a future fic or is she still in high school? I think Farfie's comment about the alcohol is what made me curious :)

I like the fact that Kenji didn't run in fear after he saw 6 guys cleaning guns when he showed up for his date. He must REALLY like Cailin a lot:)

*grins* I think she just tries to filter out the things she doesn't want to have to think about. Like perverted Schu comments and her Uncles sleeping with the family 'puppy'. She's still in high school here (they all will be, for their date fics) since I'm not ready to let them grow up yet ^^,,

Kenji is a special guy. With a weakness for odd but cute girls.

“I don’ like it.”

gods, I remember those moments!! The first time I allowed someone to take Nuri somewhere other than to the Mall, I reminded him that I was trusting him with my child, and then I had the man read something I'd written that showed one of my more creative Painful Solutions to Everyday Problems. (It was someone I'd known for a long time, and trusted, who understood my particular sense of humor and temperament) The now 'infamous' "Chapter Five" had guns, knives, bondage, and insects. *VBG* fire ants and *chuckles* carrion beetles.

That was brilliant! Poor Kenji having to deal with them all cleaning their guns while he picked her up. I loved that part!

Now that is brilliant. I'll have to keep it mind for someday *smirks*

Thanks dear!
