Karolina had no particular fascination for human males with their shirts off. Or males of any other species, for that matter.

Which was only tangentially related to why she was leaning through the doorway to Liara's room right now. "Hi."

Liara looked up at her; her expression was torn between 'wry' and 'pleased to see you'. "Karolina," she greeted warmly. "Hello. Please, come in."

"Hey," Karolina repeated (almost, anyway), as she stepped into the room, brushing her hair back from her face, and smiling. "I thought I should come by before I take off for LA again."

"I think that is a very wise thought," Liara said. Her face was kept straight, but she was, for once, actually teasing.

She patted a spot on the bed beside her.
