I imagine you have a fairly low (not super-low) happy-sounding sort of voice... smooth, mostly, but I bet it kind of catches occasionally. If you know what I mean.
I second (third?) the girly-voice thing, and I also thought your voice would be lower, but it's so cute! <333
I am also guilty of doing the rambly thing, but only with my friends. For more important phonecalls I just mess it up by leaving out vital information. I call people to leave them a message with my contact info for a job interview and then forget to leave my number. I realize that a few hours/days later and think, "I should call them back and leave my number... but then it'll be like a random girl phoning and just leaving her number, so I'll have to introduce myself all over again in the new message. Then they'll have two messages from me in a row, so... ah, forget it, I wouldn't have gotten the job anyway."
And then it starts all over again at the next call.
Oh, I ramble with EVERYONE. And important phone calls? *shakes head* I make all these long pauses and track back over my own words. Over and OVER again. Sometimes I think I manage to be very smooth, but most of the time... it's like being a sheepdog.
