I've got something special for my bad boyfriend.

My love for Shirley Manson is and will remain unconditional, but a few missteps have shown that my love for Garbage itself has bounds.

Version 2.0 was and is utterly brilliant. The guitars and the bass and Shirley's voice get the fuck under my skin and they don't leave for weeks. You Look So Fine can still make me cry. I still sing along at the ( Read more... )

Do you want the whole album in a zip file or individual tracks?

I hope you like it. The new Tori Amos album came out in February and I was very much looking forward to getting my hands on it. All the tracks leaked a week or two before the release date, so I downloaded them and my first thought was, "What the SHIT?!"

I'm still disappointed and not used to them. There are some I haven't even listened to yet.

*sigh*

Oh, I am in NO WAY going ANYWHERE near the new Tori album. (Which of her stuff is your favorite? I'm most partial to the Boys For Pele era songs. Caught A Lite Sneeze? I could listen to that FOREVER.)

I'm not sure how I feel about the new Garbage material. On one hand, I think it's better than their other most recent release. But on the other, is being better than *ugh* really good enough?

You come across as quite anti-TBK. :P It's not THAT bad. A few songs are actually good... the problem is it's Tori-lite. Baby's First Tori Amos Album. I suppose it's unreasonable of us to want Angry!Tori back, and we should be glad she's at a happy place in her life, but...

My favourite would have to be BFP too. But BFP, LE and UTP form my Holy Trinity of Tori albums. Scarlet's Walk, taken apart song by song, is great too, but when I think of it I don't go, "Ooooooh..." I'm not sure where Choirgirl stands in my ranking system.

Have you heard the Scarlet's Hidden Treasures mini-CD? Indian Summer is gorgeous. *_*
