My love for Shirley Manson is and will remain unconditional, but a few missteps have shown that my love for Garbage itself has bounds.
Version 2.0 was and is utterly brilliant. The guitars and the bass and Shirley's voice get the fuck under my skin and they don't leave for weeks.

I'm not sure how I feel about the new Garbage material. On one hand, I think it's better than their other most recent release. But on the other, is being better than *ugh* really good enough?

You come across as quite anti-TBK. :P It's not THAT bad. A few songs are actually good... the problem is it's Tori-lite. Baby's First Tori Amos Album. I suppose it's unreasonable of us to want Angry!Tori back, and we should be glad she's at a happy place in her life, but...
My favourite would have to be BFP too. But BFP, LE and UTP form my Holy Trinity of Tori albums. Scarlet's Walk, taken apart song by song, is great too, but when I think of it I don't go, "Ooooooh..." I'm not sure where Choirgirl stands in my ranking system.
Have you heard the Scarlet's Hidden Treasures mini-CD? Indian Summer is gorgeous. *_*
