"Damn, so I'm two hours early? How am I supposed to put up with you that long?" Lois teases, as soon as she walks in, alone. She did like her Always Late crown, but she likes her 'Always Surprising' one better, so it was about time for a switch.

Her gift to the hostess, this year, is a turkey made completely out of candy that she found at a cute novelty store.

Martha could not possibly be more stunned by Lois' presence so early, but this astonishment in turn is directed at this bizarre little turkey rather than at her guest.

"Lois!" She exclaims, wiping her hands on her apron and approaching. "...What is that?"

"Um, chocolate, candy corn, a gummy worm, a cookie and a cup cake." She glances at it, and nods, "Made into a turkey. Don't worry, not by me."

"Oh, thank heavens." She takes the turkey and sets it on the table, then returns to give Lois a hug. "Thank you for coming."

Jonathan glances up from his potato peeling. "Yeah, thanks. Does this mean I can go back to the game now?"

Martha rolls her eyes, shaking her head. "Only if Lois feels confident enough wielding a knife."
