Inside is a cover letter from an entirely fictional member of Senator Kelly's team, and a wad of spreadsheet print outs. In the middle of all of this is one yellow post-it note with the following message on it:

Hello awesome Martha mun! I wasn't sure if it was okay to leave an OOC comment here, so if not, please delete. I play Kendra Saunders, who is the Hawkgirl of the main DC comicsverse, over at milliways_bar. I've been fangirling your threads like crazy and am posting here to 1) tell you that I think you write an awesome Martha and 2) to beg a thread with you over at Miliways. Kendra has become pretty close to Clark at Milliways, and she would be so excited and happy to meet his mother. I'm on AIM at Greengammagirl if you're so inclined. (Or you can contact me on Kendra's journal or we can work out something else if you'd like to thread.)

Trust me, you're good at Miliways. I've been playing there for almost three years and am very impressed with your threads.

Kendra knows that Clark is alien and she knows what he can do, including what he can't do yet. That's because she knows the Clark back in her own universe pretty well and knows that he's Superman - and thus, when Milli!Clark introduced himself to her, she knew right away, after talking to him for a bit, who and what he was. But she's been very careful with Milli!Clark and with what she tells him of her own home verse, although as they've gradually gotten to know each other, she's shared more and more with him and vice versa. So, meeting Martha Kent would be really a great experience for Kendra. :-) She adores Clark! And she's quite sure that no matter what universe a Martha Kent comes from, she's going to be awesome.
