There's something called a Nicodemus flower. It wrought havoc upon Smallville over a decade ago, nearly killed my husband and several others. It causes you to...act strangely for awhile, very much not yourself. You may either become extremely...sexual or extremely violent, and you lose all your inhibitions. Then after a day or so, you fall unconscious. Luckily the last time this happened, there was an old Native American remedy found that was able to cure everyone at the last minute. Unfortunately, when you finally wake up, you...can't remember a thing that happened while you were under its influence.
