I can't promise it anytime soon, but I'll try to make it out there. The city is a welcome distraction.

I hope that you know that my thoughts are with you. I know what you're going through and there isn't a whole lot that makes it better.

But if a distraction is what you're after, a colleague of mine sent this to my inbox the other day: http://www.virtual-bubblewrap.com/popnow.shtml

That's very sweet of you, Nathan, thank you. I'm doing my best to come out of this in one piece.

Oh, is that what you boys are up to on Capitol Hill?

Lunch breaks sometimes don't consist of lunch.

We play the 'hurry up and wait' game a lot. And oftentimes this is more productive than some of the meaningless drivel much of Capitol Hill enjoys spouting.

Ah.

Well, I can certainly see how that would be true. I'll be happy to make my husband crazy with this.

Awful about sums it up, though I imagine there are many other words that would do the trick.

...Thanks, I think.

If you and dad need anything, you know who to call. And I mean that.

We're fine. You have your own things to worry about.

Strangely enough, you're one of those things. Don't make me come back over there and try to bake you a pie.

Clark, you have a baby on the way. That's what you need to focus on.

And thank you, but when I do finally decide to leave my bedroom, I'd like there to still be a kitchen waiting for me.

Hi.

I've had that experience detailing ceilings myself.

Hi.

Not very exciting, is it?

No.

Once I've redone Luthorcorp's annual accounts twice in my head, it starts to get a little boring.

I assume that visiting you is still out of the question, but do you think that anything I send will also be stopped at the gates?

Visiting me isn't out of the question, it's just...there's nothing to see here.

Considering our very distinct lack of gates, I don't think you'll have any trouble.
