[This dog uses the comm, Chase. And talks. And you might or might have noticed he has opposeable thumbs, though you probably haven't seen him walk on his hind legs yet.]

[Ah, details - Thom looked like a dog, acted like a dog, so he was just a dog to Chase. He laughs, then reaches out experimentally to scritch behind Thom's ear? Is Thom okay with that?]

[Chocolate, being incredibly toxic for dogs due to containing theobromine - in high amounts in the darker kinds, like what Chase had here - was probably not the best "treat" for little Thom, but that was the entire point. If the pup poisons himself on it, why should he be assed to care?]

[Thom jumps a little in paranoia, but Chase doesn't try to grab him or hurt him, so he lets the scritching happen. Feels pretty good actually, so he relaxes just a bit more.]

I can have more??

[Thom will totally eat as much theobromine as Chase has got.

He's going to be a very sick little puppy.]

He's a bit bigger than your average puppy - about 50lbs - so it will take more theobromine to do it, but it's dark chocolate so...]
