The weather always seems to change in an instant without warning. It's probably going to get as cold as it was last winter, too...

I'm not really surprised by the sudden change, it's merely the amount of snow overnight that was a bit disconcerting. How cold did it get last year?

I don't think this place knows the meaning of "gradual change". And if you ask me, a little too cold for comfort.

[ the video feed clicks on--D is sitting in the dark of the living room--there is a single lamplight on, lighting up the books on the table on Somarium and Dream energy and such. The elegant, handsome dhampir stares at the screen for a moment with lavender eyes at Hermione before speaking in his soft voice. ]

[Her eyes are first drawn to the books with their most interesting titles. However Hermione looks up at the man on her screen. Er...well, who's this solemn, deadly looking man?]

Those are really books about Somarium?

...Yes. There aren't a lot, however. Mainly handwritten notes from what we gathered on dream energy during a bit of a crisis a few months back...but still very little. Mainly only atlases and such exist now.

Everything else has been removed.

When I first got here I was told that most of the books were destroyed. [Generally she wouldn't be this forward...no wait, who's she trying to fool? Someone has information that can't be found in stores or libraries and Hermione's desire to read it and learn from it will be like a beacon and call to her until she finally does so.] Would it be possible for me to borrow those for a short while?
