When you have leftover cakes, take them to the nearest nursing/long term care facility and give it to the employees. They will appreciate the sugar rush. ;)

Perseverance should be your new nick name. If that had happened to me on my first ever decorated cake, I think I would have thrown in the towel. Good for you. The finished cake looks great. Congratulations.
