Holy wow! How long does it take to clean the cages??? I must say the steup looks very neat and tidy as well!

I plan on having a "ferret room" when I get my house someday. Probably have 3-5 ferrets and hang all sorts of cool ferret decor on the walls etc. Can't do that now as in California it's not a great idea to announce you're a ferret person :-)

Not as long as you probably think! It depends on how clean they are, but I can generally get all cages done (if I do them rapid fire, which isn't generally the way I go about it since the groups don't get along and I clean during playtimes) in about an hour and a half or so. And thanks - you can tell they hadn't been out between the time I finished cleaning and the time the pictures were taken. ;)

That'll be great when you're able to! The ferrets really love it.

Awesome. Yeah it will be nice to have a room for them someday. Right now they run around the bedroom, bathroom and hallway so they do have room to roam, but still would be nice to have them contained in their own seperate place. :-)

I have been meaning to ask you - where did you get your supply cabinet, and if you do not mind me asking, how much was it? I think it looks really nice & I could really use something to tuck away all of the critter stuff that occupies the upstairs (sometimes I feel like I live in THEIR space! lol)!

Target, actually. I think I paid $49.99 on sale, but can't remember for sure. It's meant for use in the garage, but I could care less - I don't think it looks bad in the house! It's this one. Holds a ton of stuff, and I'd eventually like to get another - it's just deciding where to put it that's the problem. :)

oh dear lord, that is my ferret's dream room castle! can we come live there? pretty please? although.. the fact that tussi (and usually saiko) automatically strikes at any ferret they do not know, probably isn't the best thing. oh well, i am still waiting to win that damn lottery!

Sure, the more the merrier! And don't worry about the ferret strikes, I've got a couple here that are more than happy to play the same game. The lottery win would be nice, though!
