So, LoBII has been conquered! Waar! All in all, an excellent weekend, and that includes factoring in ending up in tears on the couch after the dinner break.
doh! i so totally didn't know you had regatta as plot, or wanted to be in it or anything... iwas wicked bored with nothign to do all saturday (and sunday) so when they asked me to do it i was all excited and stuff... iam sorry :(
I seem to have been one of the people overwhelmed by plot mechanisms, possibly because so many people were being proactive and trying to help Tony and Maria get away.
For me, that was great, because I never had to wander around wondering what to do next or attach myself to someone, because there was always something to do with the dress shop, because we had a fairly laborious dress-making mechanic. However, Jon spent a lot of his game, like you, wandering around wondering how to get involved in more plots.
My theory regarding these sorts of situations: I don't think it's you, per your report I have seen situations where I come up with an idea and tell lots of people and am ignored. Then someone else comes over, gives the same idea I did, are hailed as a genius and asked to join the group. I think rather that it's when you're playing a character who is in large part passive or in a situation where you're not the one supposed to take the actions, you tend to become what I call 'furniture'. Everyone sees you, everyone needs you to be

Yeah, I was in the same boat. My character sheet initially mentions that Becky is rolled in, but I had no UGC plot of any kind. Given that and the time constraints given to working mothers, I didn't have any time to listen to the musical. I have to admit though, while Rizzo is pretty tough and a bit blood thirsty, I don't know that I want her to actually desire to kill an innocent...I still see her as the young woman, who is trying to make her place in the world of tough men, by behaving like a tough man. I'd be more than happy to sing a long as well, just not as Rizzo...:)

Great meeting you, even though we rarely interacted in character. Sorry you had some difficulties, but I'm glad you were able to jump back in Sunday!
