They make me think of Pete's son's confession a few years ago. He'd been looking at pictures he drew as a kid and realised that he drew men with an "M" shape to the inside of their legs, rather than the conventional inverted "V", so it looked as if he was drawing a 'bulge'. He was really embarrassed when he realised what he'd done as a kid!
