(I think I am capable of cutting grass, having done it as a child), but they offered and it's nice not to ( Read more... )

wow, you've got a lot of new things to tackle. :)

it amazed me too how friends and family are so wonderful at a difficult time.

I'm thinking of you both and wishing you the best.

I would say the lack of activity is caused by the 'dog days of summers' and back to school frenzy. Then there is a few of us who have been completely overwhelmed lately. I still have to finish getting my gift. I have half of it but there are still a few items that I want to include.

I am very glad to hear that things are getting better for you. I wish we lived closer so that we could help more than just sending our prayers.

*giggles* ~~ yep, I know how busy you've been Wendy! Ed had esophageal cancer and had an esophagectomy on 8/8. He's finally home now after 11 days. Life's good =)

Oh, man; I feel for you.

Between my mom's cancer stay (3 weeks) and Ed's de-tox, etc. (13 days) I felt like I was linked at the hip to the hospital.

It isn't easy with them home and being not 100%, but you will get through it--I just know.

*sending good vibes*

~~although I'm so short, it's a struggle to get all my white sox out from under the agitator sometimes.

You will have to get yourself a front loader dear :). No stretching up and over to get that sock in the bottom :)
