Thanks to the coolest little firewall appliance on the market, SixXS, frostyw, nius, the help of several websites and tutorials in addition to a lot of patience... I now have IPv6 service on my wired and wireless networks at the house via an IPv6 tunnel. There's nothing quite like an electrical brown-out when you're in the colocation facility at 2220 hours to add a sense of excitement to your day. And to see how well your new facility provider has trained their staff for emergencies like this.

Fourteen hour day today.

Yesterday was 12.5 hours in the new datacenter, today was 13.3 hours. On the plus side we got BGP running, networks routing, the VPN established and the IP phones working - all courtesy of a box that's classified by Juniper (the manufacturer) as a "SOHO" class device. Good: The continental breakfast at the hotel we're in has a make-your-own waffle maker. They are tasty and this concept is badass.

Bad: I lacerated the back of my skull when I was shaving this morning. Ow, dammit.

Different: Having Tia from housekeeping knock on my room's door when I'm in the bathroom.
