well, the one point that is irrefutable is that it exists... although I highly doubt it would be omnibenevolent if that is the big question

I worded that rather poorly... you cannot prove that some sort of omnipotent being is non-existent, because if it were all-powerful, it could easily disguise itself from you. which would probably mean it wasn't all-good (but still could be all-knowing)

We are capable of great, beautiful, constructive, creative, destructive, and terrible things. definitely. It annoys me more when things are blamed on the devil. Who the FUCK is the devil? It's illogical for there to be a God and a devil. they're the same damn thing. If God is all powerful, he isn't all good.

Interesting article online today (don't have the link handy, but google probably will) about the connection between the Super Bowl and God. It's something that I've realized for a long time, but never actually articulated: our sports are reflecting our "patriotic religiosity"... i'm gonna hurl now.
