Well, a soup kitchen would be successful in my opinion. Soup is typically low calorie, fulling, cheap, and evokes ideas of wholesomeness and satisfaction for one's money. Add in homemade breads as a side and you've got a deal! w00t!
***okay, my sister is probably gonna kill me for divulging these "totally original and fantastic ideas" to a complete stranger.
LOL - Yeah, I wasn't speaking of an actual soup kitchen... I was just feeling wacky... it was simultaneously a commentary on religiosity in this country, the dire financial circumstances that we are experiencing here, and the impending need for a lot of food for starving people that cannot pay their bills and will likely go homeless if we don't turn things around somehow. Oh, and the fact that almost all soup kitchens are religious indoctrination facilities... which makes me want to open a secular, science-based soup kitchen where we offer the gospel of natural science as the crutch that people can rely on in those weak and needy times. ;o) Also making a commentary on the fact that religious people consider the "religion" of pro-science folk to be the theory of evolution and scientific explanations.
