It’s funny that song has been driving me crazy for the past two weeks. Last week I finally saw Donnie Darko and “Mad World” is the song that plays during the last scene in the movie and the credits and I felt like a knew that song but I couldn’t figure out why. Then I started seeing the Gears of War commercial. So then it really started bothering me and I decided to download in from itunes so I could hear the entire song again but of course it is one of those songs that is “album only” grrr. But as soon as a I read “Tears for Fears” I was like duh! That’s why! Hahah! I totally have that cd too.
The same thing happened to me the first time I heard Disturbed’s version on “Land of Confusion”. Haha.
I am so glad this mystery is solved haha!

that is a great song not sure which version i like better...i'm a big fan of tears for fears but all of their tunes have kind of a dated 80s feel more so than most 80s groups i think.

its true 80s songs really sound strange, they sound for lack of beter words '80s'. But the tears for fears version is good, its a little faster and i dunno which one sounds more right.
