I haven't seen any full versions of these interviews anywhere, so I decided to translate them myself. This post contains the interviews with Shinbou Akiyuki, Urobuchi, and Aoki Ume.

Please do not repost this translation anywhere, in full or in part, without explicit written permission from me! Archiving the translation for personal purposes is ( Read more... )

Would you mind if I link these on the Madoka Magica wiki? Not a repost, just a link to this page.

"Not the greatest source"? Well, that sure is rude! If they have a problem with my translation quality, oughtn't they look up someone else's? And why only link to the first three interviews?

The twitter account is not known to me. I'll RT it and tweet both your LJ enties with interviews.

But from what I've just discovered he probably found he didn't have enough room for both of them in one tweet :)

Wonderful stuff here! And when you say these same interviews are from the pamphlet for the movie, you're talking about the limited edition program guide that was offered first in Japan and then in a couple select U.S. cities, right? Are there any illustrations in it, by any chance? I'm considering purchasing the guide online.... :)

I think the fan wiki has scans of the pamphlet if you want to take a look at it before you hunt down your own copy--it's got a lot of screenshots and a few pieces of concept art for Nagisa/the girls' new outfits as used in the sequence where Kyubey explains how everyone got into the barrier.

Some us in Mexico got the program guides too :D And I do wonder if other locations around the world too, hmm O.o.
And the guide is probably on ebay right one but I bet is expensive, and also it's on sale on sites like yahoo auctions japan, but you will need a proxy to get it. XD

And yes it does have ilustrations, it's a beautiful thing and I do recomend buying it :D

Thanks for the translation! I think a new season or film for PMMM depends on the chance they come up with something worth telling, I guess.

There's another Shinbo interview in december's edition of Madoka's magazine (Manga Time Kirara Magica Vol.11). Is there any chance you could translate the important bits? (starts at the third pic of the gallery). I will give you my firstborn! or the intention at least...
Anyways, I think that with the BD release of Rebellion this April, they are definitely going to announce their plan for a sequel.

PS: For some reason, LJ is marking the link for the magazine as spam, but anyways if you copypaste "Manga Time Kirara Magica Vol.11" it should come up as the first result.
