I haven't been in Harry Potter fandom for a long time, and therefore haven't really been paying much attention to Pottermore. However, from time to time stuff from it comes up on my Tumblr or Twitter feed so I end up reading it.

I hate being treated like I'm stupid. So yes I am totally with you reading the Remus and Tonks stuff. Very WTFever. I got to the end and feel like she (JKR) is trying to sell the readers on something she's given us no reason to believe. I know what I read and she can't come along now and say oh but they were so in love. Bull. Shit.

I also loved that he's Welsh.

Fucking EXACTLY. Reading that description was like reading a really cheesy romance novel - it was totally unbelieveable. Whereas the R/S relationship that shone through between the lines is so strong that I can't NOT see it.

I'm at a complete loss finding out that his father's name is actually Lyall and not John. XD (And that Ted's full name is Edward.)

Other than that, I pretty much skipped most of the Tonks bits. That was character non-development, as far as I'm concerned.

Haha - yes! I prefer Lyall to John as a name, so I'll let that one go.

I know what you mean about non-development. That was like reading about some random people I've never heard of before - totally unrelated to HP.
