Wheeeeeeeeeeee, thank you! So far my advice is: have a mini-crisis a couple of months before, go through the five basic stages of grief, arrive at acceptance and then drink yourself into oblivion. \o/

It took me a while to figure out how to move over to DW, but there is a tutorial over there somewhere. I think the problem when I did it was that LJ itself kept going down while DW was trying to import the entries. I got there in the end though. (I'll still be hanging out here, though, so all is well.)
