I hope you don't mean to ask me to be a part of your team. I'll support, of course - there's no question regarding that. But I'm much better suited to be a spectator than an actual athlete on the Quidditch pitch!

[He sets down lightly, standing the broom up beside him. He smiles gently - no need to scare her. Not this time around, at least.]
You ready, then?

[ She takes a deep breath, looks at the broom, then looks at him. ]
No. But if I don't do this now, I won't. So... [ She'll just... sidle up to the broom. ] Let's get on with it, then.

Right. You'll be steering, so you'll have to be in front, but don't worry in the least bit. I'll be behind you the whole time.
[He mounts the broom and slides down to the tail end, leaving plenty of room for her to sit before him, then smile over to her patiently. Take your time, he'll wait all day.]

Right. Breathe. [ She swings one leg up and over the broom, gripping tightly to its neck as she scoots back toward Fred very tentatively. ]
So help me, Fred Weasley, if you go fast without warning me, I will find a way to make sure you understand how terrible an idea it was.

[He is joking, so very very joking, and she might be able to tell even without being able to see his face from the way he slips his arms beneath hers to take hope of the broom just below her hands. Support. He's right behind you.]
We'll just lift off lightly, alright?

[ Oh. Okay, he's teasing. Rude but whatever at least he's not going to scare the crap out of her life. She takes a slow breath, turning back to face forward, and closes her eyes. ]
