Just a notice to those I play Halo 3 with:

I'm hereby on hiatus from it for the duration of spring break. After tonight's little... "hissy fit" (to quote what Jace said behind my back), I have no interest in it. What was the source of this 'hissy fit'?

You should play with me more, I don't get angry when I die (unless it's to a gloating sack of shit :3) or cocky when I pull off a kill (just amazed).

If the people you play it with are making you hate it, fuck them. Time for new friends. It's your game to enjoy, not theirs to ruin.

The chance of a friend getting Recon armor for simply helping a dude get ranked up. (His son works for Bungie.) It's degrading the value of the armor - if you get it for helping a Bungie-affiliated player out with ranking up, hey! You can has Recon!

...

Bullshit. It does nothing for us who are TRYING to earn it.

Well that's just shit. Though I wasn't aware that Recon armor was something that could be earned. Because if that's the case then I know about fifteen extremely talented, good natured, non-assholish players who should have that armor - for their skill and genuine love for the game, not for assisting the parents of Bungie employees.

If that's the case I doubt she'll get it. 'Hey son, some random person helped me rank up, get her Recon armor.'

No. If it actually happens (insert massive amount of doubt here) then I'll be right along with you on the 'pissed off' train.

It can be earned; people just do something lucky and they randomly get the Recon armor. Y'see the point?
