Happy (belated) Birthday, sallyanne!

I actually had your post ready on Sunday afternoon, but figured I'd wait until the day of to push the button. And then, of course, the whole of Monday slipped through my fingers like so much sand :( Anyway -- ( I said to myself: Self, I said, it's sal's birthday. Should we go elegant or silly? )

I couldn't fill this out, as my answers weren't really there.

1. I have one LJ. My real name is on my info page. I post my fic and silly RL stories and quizzes on it. I sometimes flock things that aren't for my husband to see.

2. A group of my RL friends (who are only my friends because they are fannish of one stripe or another) are on my flist, though locked from some of my posts. None of my family aside from my husband even know that LJ exists.

I hear you. I got a myspace last Christmas, but only because I found out that a bunch of my cousins are on it, and I had to have an account to comment. I don't blog over there, and they don't know about my lj.

I only have the one, too. I honestly don't know how people keep up with more than one online home.

Heh, I have to admit, they crack me up every time I look at them :D And aw, I always hope that other folks enjoy the birthday fun :)

Aw, believe it or not, I know exactly which postcard I sent you (because I'm just that anal). I even remember what I wrote about, and I meant every word :)

As I've said, I really enjoy sending them, and it's always great to hear that there's enjoyment and neat feelings on the receiving end, too. Thank you so much for letting me know! *mwa*

Hmm. I got the Myspace to reserve the name Shadowlass; I got the websites to archive the fic; and I got the other LJ because I was cautious about posting smut under my regular online handle, so I went with (another) pseudonym.

Thanks so much for filling out my little poll and commenting, SL :) I've been contemplating reserving "fenwic" over on Greatest Journal as a backup to lj. It just looks and feels more like lj than the other alternatives.

And I hear you on the smut. I don't even write, but as long as my mother has an internet connection, I will lock down any post that even mentions porn ;)
