Genre: Um... Biblical angst/romance?
Warnings: What's the phrase, now... oh, yes. 'May contain ideologically sensitive material'. Also, slight slash, although that's fairly debatable.

Summary: In a history that isn't really history, before the world was what it was, two angels wish for freedom, and ( Read more... )

I love this. Lucifer is one of my favorite...i don't know if you can say "biblical figures", but yeah. I love different stories about how he fell. Or drifted casually downward. ;) But this was really gorgeous, and I loved the challenging of the perfection that was kind of forced on them, how they were longing for something as simple as birds.

Gorgeousssss. :)

(Got here from brigits_flame, btw. Not stalking. :P)

I've always sort of sympathised with Lucifer, to be honest. xD Especially after reading Paradise Lost.
Thank you!

My God! (*looks around* Wow...that was ironically posed...)

This is INCREDIBLE! You were simply being nice to me, this is beautiful!

Oh and as for Paradise Lost...I get what you mean. I haven't read it in it's entirety, but I have it, and have read parts of it for college. It really is sad. This makes me want to read all of it now!

*blushes*
You lie! You LIIIIEEE! *dives under table*

Seriously, though... xD
To be honest, Milton's God strikes me as a bit of an arsehole - no offence meant to religious-type people. Lucifer is just more interesting. And Sin is one of my favourite characters. xD Wonder what that says about me.

And I do think yours is better! No arguing, biatch!

Well seeing as I haven't read the whole book, I can't quite respond to Milton's God, but I do know that his Lucifer was much more troubled than you would normally think him to be.

At any rate, I won't argue over whose it better, but I still LOVE yours. Makes me want to go read Milton now.

Milton is good. Milton is always good.

Long and flowery, but good.

Your story is engaging and beautiful. I love how you portrayed Lucifer, for whom I have always felt sympathy.
