Well, it's not as if I imagine that what I have to say is of interest to anyone ("But tell us what you really think! Stop censoring yourself!")
:D
I am perfectly aware that:
my overly forceful opinions seem to run against the majority's. Just yesterday I saw a poll where the option of liking the end of Season 3 more than the beginning did not even exist because this did not cross their minds... we are meant to cry hot tears of dismay at Beckett's exit and Elizabeth's, anything else is not even on the radar for most of the fandom as far as I can tell
my reasons for liking/disliking something are often very esoteric (and boring). I am just totally politically incorrect like that. It's a gift! *proud*
I remember once reading someone's review about an episode which I felt was right on the money: all of the replies to that review showed that the readers either disagreed or totally missed the point the reviewer was making, and this was a BNF, whose opinions -one would assume- are generally treated with some respect. So why even

I'm afraid my appreciation of the show is a lot more shallow than yours. Mostly, it involves thinking that Rodney is cute.
After a while I have decided that it's probably better, I don't pay too close attention to the plot beyond very specific scenes. The problem I have with the writing of SGA in general is that their plots don't make logical sense. I get paid to spot the holes in a story, so when the writers make the characters commit such obvious mistakes, I tend to storm out of the room screaming "They all deserve to die horribly if they are that stupid!!!" kuonji14 laughs at me when I do this

Hee! I think you have the right outlook when it comes to Stargate, yet another reason why I still do nto quite see the benefit of posting unless one has something relevant to post, like fics! Indeed, SGA can be tons of fun, but no one ever pretended their stories made any sense or that the writers would recognize character development if it came up to them and bit them. Whereas the cuteness factor cannot be denied and seems to be increasing
